This year’s banquet will be held on Saturday evening, March 10 from 6 to 10 P.M. at the Columbine Unitarian-Universalist Church, 6724 S. Webster St., Littleton. The buffet-style banquet dinner will feature great Mexican food catered by TacoMojo. Cost per person is $18.

Because of the cancellation of the Annual Meeting due to the snowstorm, the evening will begin with the election of DAS officers for 2012. Following dinner, presentation of awards to DAS volunteers, and the installation of DAS 2012 Officers, astronaut Bruce McCandless II will make a presentation entitled "Space Telescopes: Where They Are Headed and Why."
