The Denver
Astronomical Society
hosts weekly and
monthly events at
the University of
Denver's Historic
Chamberlin
Observatory,
featuring its prized
1894 Alvan
Clark-Saegmuller
20-inch refracting
telescope.
Chamberlin
Observatory is
listed on the
National
Register of
Historic Places
and was
renovated inside
and out during
2008 by the
University of
Denver with the
support of a
Historic
Colorado grant,
the Observatory
Park community,
and the Denver
Astronomical
Society.
Public Nights, Open
Houses, Executive
Board Meetings, and
many special DAS
events are held at
Chamberlin
Observatory, which is
located in
Observatory Park in
Denver, Colorado.
