Darrell Dodge

Main Telescope(s): Celestron 11" SCT with Celestron CGE Mount; Celestron 9.25" SCT; Orion 120ST 4.7" refractor with Celestron CG-5 Mount; Coronado PST.
Activities in Astronomy: Observing galaxies and other deep sky objects; AL Observing Programs; variable star observing; CCD imaging; public outreach and education; certified telescope operator, Alvan Clark-Saegmuller 20-Inch refractor at Chamberlin Observatory; DAS Secretary and Webmaster.

Jack Eastman

Main Telescope(s): 6-inch refracting telescope built in 1877 by the celebrated firm of Alvan Clark and Sons (at left). A 12-cm (5") home-built refracting telescope completed around 1973. 32-cm (12.6") f/7.6 Newtonian Reflector on a permanent pier equatorial mount. This telescope saw First Light August, 1957. Tiny 40mm f/12.5 Newtonian Reflector. Primary mirror was the core from a 10-inch f/2 primary mirror for one of the first Celestron "Table Top Tens" circa 1964.
Activities in Astronomy: DAS Chief Observer, participate in public star parties and public outreach at Chamberlin Observatory open houses, Riverside Telescope Makers Conference. DAS E-Board member.
